I tend to live in cutoffs during the summer months, and I always find myself embellishing them or patching them in various ways to make them unique (I have proof: see my DIY Studded Cutoffs, DIY Updated Cutoffs, Floral Patch Cutoffs, and American Flag Cutoffs). This year I was inspired by our July catalog and its boy-meets-girl styling. I love the idea of incorporating girl elements into a boyish pair of shorts through patching with lace.
