Saturday DO: Take Time To Relax

It hit me like a ton of bricks the other day… August is almost here.  And after August comes September, which means…fall.  Time is flying and it makes me sad, because in my opinion summer weekends are the greatest. Today, take time to relax and enjoy this beautiful summer weekend.  Spend every waking moment outside, and soak up the warmth and sunshine while it’s still here!

It is crazy how fast everything is flying by. I’m going camping this weekend through next week, so I’ll definitely be savoring summer.

Summers are terribly hot here. Most of us spend as much time inside in the AC as possible. I, for one, am looking forward to the fall when I can actually go running again and I can get my garden back to green!

A beautiful post. I’ve just graduated & took off to Greece for a week to really relax… http://worthwakingupfor.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/a-grecian-getaway.html Xx

I’m a workaholic- I have a day job, and every free moment working on my blog or vintage store, or taking photos… and today I just had to back up and say “whoa, you’re home on a saturday without plans, just relax for two minutes.”

Sitting in the sun soaking up the day, with nowhere to go and nothing to do, for once.
It feels so nice :)

my favorite thing to do is to just sit and listen to the ocean and soak up the sun – it’s a MUST for everyone. The sound of water and the effects it has is such a powerful thing…

I accidentaly went and discovered a new town yesterday!
Which means… a lot of walking.
The feeling of endless roads was nice,
and after a long day it was even more nice to lay in a soft bed:)

I’m landlocked! If you’re close to the ocean, or a lake, etc., cherish it! For me, it’s chilling’ on our deck with a tall beverage, feet up, a breeze, and the smell of my hubby’s BBQ. Add magazine, Kindle, or journal, and it makes a PERFECT Friday evening.
