Most mornings, when I’m getting ready for the day, I put thought into my outfit and accessories, but my hair and makeup generally stay the same. It always seems like it will be time consuming to change up my routine, but in reality, this really only takes a few extra minutes – and it’s so much more fun to go about the day with an entire look that was created to be cohesive. The weather is cooling down here in Philadelphia, and today I’m putting together a fun fall look, from clothes and accessories to hair and makeup!
My signature fall look always includes a short skirt or dress, a pair of thigh highs, and some ankle boots. I’m sticking with that today, but changing up the color palette. I wanted to include mustard yellow – and I knew exactly what sweater I would use.
Pictured: Cross My Heart Pullover, Chenille Cheetah Skirt, Cozy Sweater Tall Sock, Dylan Ankle Boot.
For accessories, I kept the black, yellow, and rust palette going in my rings, bracelets, and necklaces, too.
Jewelry pictured: Almost Famous Collar, Tropical Hard Bangle Set, Organic Stone Cuff, Stacking Ring Set, Earths Treasure Ring.
For hair, I created an extreme side part and then let my hair dry naturally. I draped two small braids from the left side of my head to the back, and secured them with bobby pins. I then made one last tiny braid right behind my earlobe and tied it using a small piece of brown embroidery string.
Now, time for makeup! On my face I kept it pretty simple, lining my upper lids with brown eye shadow and defining my lashes with a touch of black mascara. I swiped a bit of pink blush on the apples of my cheeks and added a bit on my lips, too. I always like to apply a little bit of blush on my lips to bring the whole look together — it makes a great, subtle matte lipstick!
Makeup used: Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Secret Service, Maybelline Full ‘N Soft Mascara in Very Black, Bare Minerals READY Blush in The Aphrodisiac.
For nails, I used a charcoal color for all but one nail — I accented my left ring-finger with a bronzy gold. After my nails were dry, I added a little swipe of yellow down the middle of my left thumbnail to tie the look back in with my sweater.
Nail Polish Used: OPI Nail Color in Get in the Expresso Lane and Sephora by OPI Nail Color in Dark Room.
And there you have it! Outfit, accessories, hair, and makeup for a complete fall look.

LOVE! you have such style. i cant wait to start shopping for more fall weather.
I don’t think that nail polish color is right. Get In the Expresso Lane is a dark brown, not really a gray. I’m only mentioning it because someone may want to do something similar to the photo.
Ah, thanks Em! It’s fixed in the post now :)
