What To Pack For Outside Lands

Post image for What To Pack For Outside Lands

My favorite music festival is this weekend — Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco! I love this festival because it takes place in one of my favorite locations, and also because of the laid back atmosphere. The vibe of the crowd is great, and of course the music is incredible! The weather is always cooler for this festival, because of the location — even if it is warm out in downtown San Francisco, the park can get quite foggy and chilly, allowing for more layers and cozy, comfy dressing. If I was going to the festival this year, here’s what I would pack!

I love this FP New Romantics Field Day Dress that’s featured in our August book — the shade of red looks great with the tan Hartley Slouch Hobo and Double Rafter Boot! I just got these boots and they are amazing. I also love the look of layering the Harvest Collar and Big Buddha Locket. Hat coming soon.

The Cypress Printed Widelegs are so perfect for San Francisco’s bohemian vibe! Since the pants have a lot going on, I’d pair them with a simple white tank. I always keep my accessories the same at festivals, and again pictured here are the Hartley Slouch Hobo, Double Rafter Boot, Harvest Collar, and Big Buddha Locket.

I love maxi skirts for music festivals, and right now I have my eye on this amazing FP One Plaid Patchwork Maxi.  I love this paired with the We The Free Zeppelin Tank for a relaxed look and if it gets chilly I’d throw on the Stag Amulet Kimono (below) for a super-boho look.

As I mentioned, it can get cold at Outside Lands so a jacket is a must! I’d bring the Stag Amulet Kimono as a light layer, and the amazing Vegan Leather Hooded Motorcycle Jacket.

I live here (right next to the park, actually), and the weather forecast predicts it’ll be around 55-60 degrees. Keep that in mind! xoxo

Why do you keep your accessories the same for festivals?

p.s I think you’ll be a bit frigid

I agree with the people who said you’ll be cold. San Francisco is definitely not a classic Cali summer. Otherwise beautiful outfits and I really wish I was there!!
