The third Roshambo video brings us back to where it all began: Paris. The final chapter in the series was filmed throughout the streets of Paris, so this inspired me to try a transfer technique on my nails using a map of the magical city. For something that looks complicated, it’s actually really simple to achieve. You can do this with any map, and it’s fun to pick out certain places that you may have traveled to or special spots that you want to put on your nails.
What You Need:
Map
White nail polish
Clear top coat
Rubbing alcohol
Scissors
Cotton swabs
Step one: Look over your map and cut out 10 small pieces of your liking for each one of your nails.
I chose pieces that had a variety of colors in them.
Step two: Apply two coats of white polish to your nails and allow this to dry completely.
Step three: Take one of your pieces and dip it into the rubbing alcohol.
Allow this to soak for at least 30 seconds.
Step four: Select which nail you want, place the map piece face down and apply pressure for 30 seconds.
Step five: slowly lift up the map piece off of your nail.
Step six: dip a cotton swab into the rubbing alcohol and gently rub away any remnants of the map paper that may be left sticking to your nail.
Repeat this process on the rest of your nails.
Step seven: Finish off with a clear top coat to seal the image and make it shiny.
There you go! Easy road map nails in seven steps. What city are you going to try?

I’m going to try with my home, Chicago… But I think I will use Sanborn Fire Insurnace Maps. I use them at work all the time and I love them; finding out the history of buildings in my city is the best part of my job!
OH MY GOODNESS. I was doing newspaper nails yesterday, and wondering if you could do it with a map! So pleased that you can! Definitely doing this.
