Monday Quote: Pure Imagination

“There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination. Living there, you’ll be free if you truly wish to be. ” – Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

This quote reminds me of daydreaming. When I daydream, my imagination runs wild, and I think about things that almost seem like a fairy tale.  Sometimes you don’t realize you’re in that state until the instant you snap out of it.  In those few seconds though, it’s fun to view your life as if you are somewhere else, or someone completely different than you are now. You are allowed to make up whatever you want to make up and keep it to yourself.

One of the most powerful things we own when we are a child is our imagination, and it’s always fun to see how much of that imagination is still there.

Beautiful quote! And one of the best edits yet. Imagination is key.

This quote reminds me of all the times I’ve been lost and didn’t know where to turn. There have been times when I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted to do. I wasn’t happy with my life. I was told I’d never be someone. I’d always turn to my imagination and pictured what I wish my life could be like. Every night, I’d turn on a song, lay back and visualized my dream life. Little did I know, it gave me inspiration. I began to show everyone what I’m really capable of and stood up for myself. My imagination helped me get through some tough times, but I’m glad I had it by my side the entire way.

I couldn’t agree more.
