Lost In Tokyo: Catalog Behind The Scenes, Part 2

One of my favorite things about traveling is watching people.  My senses on high alert, I always find myself picking up on pieces of conversation, watching peoples’ facial expressions and movements, wondering who they are and what they’re doing.  Traveling forces you to step outside of your everyday “bubble,” and you notice more.  No longer a part of the pack that’s rushing to go to work or catch the subway, you’re a bystander, standing still as the world moves around you at its same hurried pace.  It’s one of my favorite feelings — almost like you’re invisible, just a tiny spec in a sea of people and lights and movement.

What’s your favorite thing about traveling?

Great photos!
I guess my favorite part of traveling is meeting new people with different world views from home and broadening my own. Taking photographs of all of the newly discovered places is not only also one of my favorite things about traveling but also a passion.

I love being surrounded by people speaking another language. That’s how I know I’m not home.

That is a wonderful part about travel, these photos are absolutely beautiful. My favorite part about travel is seeing things for the first time through an unbiased eye. And seriously, stunning post.
