Current Affair: Los Angeles Vintage Haven

Lover of all things vintage? Avid clothes digger perhaps? Do heaps of unsorted printed pieces make you smile from within? A shopper that appreciates the one of a kind, the unusual, the ode to every decade past? Well then, let me introduce Current Affair, an event you should be attending if you don’t already. Over 50 curated vendors of vintage splendor line the aisles of this pop up marketplace. Indian dresses, turquoise galore, shaggy 70’s shearling coats, printed kimonos, old stetson hats. The vendors themselves are a true representation of what they offer. A place not only to meet incredibly creative individuals, but also to get your hands of some of the most beautiful garments the LA vintage scene has to offer. Our creative director Doub went last Saturday, perused, chatted and snapped these photos below. Enjoy!

Woah! I really bummed I missed it!! I’ll def have to check it out next year. I’ve been collecting vintage since I was 6 years old, and I still remember the first time I went to a vintage thrift shop. My Grandma and I went to exchange my faux leopard coat that I had outgrown to look for a dress I needed for a winter party. At first I was soo sad to give up my favorite coat that had no longer fit me anymore, but I found the most beautiful blue dress that day, and I have been hooked collecting pieces ever since! There is something so special with vintage, giving old treasures new life <3

YUMMMMMMM. I think the only thing happy that I wasn’t able to go to this was my wallet, cause looks like she would’ve lost too much weight here. !! ;)
