Song of the Week: Good Man Down

Young love. Innocent and pure. A young boy searching for the girl he loves… with flowers in his hands and hope in his heart. Estonian band Ewert and the Two Dragons bring a most beautiful tale of boy and girl; of romance in the woods, of searching for your better half, of never giving up. Most of all… finding humor in yourself through the journey.

This video has been a favorite of mine over the years, reminding me of the roots of love. The playfulness we all should keep close with the one we walk next to in this life. You remember? In the playground as a child, the boy who would give you his most treasured snack… pick a wilted daisy for your desk… and if you were REALLY the apple of his eye- surely he would tease you endlessly until tears rolled down your little round cheeks.  Let me know if you enjoy the video as much as I do. A very happy week to you all.

“A child can teach an adult three things: To be happy for no reason, to always be curious, and to fight tirelessley for something.”- Paulo Coelho
