In the summer, so many great fruits and vegetable are in season and I start to get sad as it turns to fall. Then I discovered how much a love persimmons, but now they are out of season :(. It’s been interesting to try and eat according to season, and it’s nice to know they’re are so many more options then I thought. Yay for pears, brussels sprouts, and oranges!

Yum! I’ll pass on the brussel sprouts, tho :D My big thing as of late is making large batches of homemade soup from natural bone broth–I feel fantastic having eaten more of this the last month or so. I think I’ll include some kale and cabbage in the next batch. Thanks for sharing!
