Feather Arrows For Valentine’s Day

What better a way to represent this time of love than with some beautiful handmade arrows… just like Cupid. This is an incredibly simple DIY, but for some reason it just seems to tug at my heart strings more than any other.

Make these arrows for your love, your friend, your sibling… or yourself. ;) They’re an adorable piece of decor to add into your home — whether it’s Valentine’s Day or not.

All you need are some feathers, paintbrushes, acrylic paint, wooden dowels (about 1.5 feet long), string, colored card stock, a pair of scissors, and a glue gun!

Feathers, paint brushes, paint

Our lovely videographer Rachel documented as I made a few of these at home… and then put together this pretty little video — a glimpse at how it’s done. Enjoy!

have you guys ever received any comments about cultural appropriation? It shocks me that you guys continue to dabble with this. Such a shame

@Alex, archery or bows and arrows have been used by a variety of cultures at different points in history including Germans, Greeks, and Egyptians.
