Julia pretty much summed up our trip to SXSW in her diary post, but I wanted to share some photos that I took along the way as well. When you travel with someone, you may be with them at all the same places, but each person captures the trip from their own perspective.
This was my second time at SXSW, and this trip was so different from the last. It’s interesting that you can visit the same place a year later and have a completely different experience from the first time. Julia has traveled to Austin many of times, so it was fun to go to some of her favorite places and learn more about the city. Shopping on South Congress made me find a new love for little antique trinketsĀ and vintage clothing. There are some pretty smart people running some pretty awesome stores along that stretch of road. I was excited to take home a few goodies back to Philly with me.
…But I took home so much more than goodies. From the sites we saw, the people we met, and the experiences we had…SXSW 2014 inspired and created some awesome memories. New friends, we will meet again. :)
See you soon, Austin!

This is great, Jana… I truly believe that Austin is one of the coolest places on Earth, and you really brought that to life in your pics! Well done ;)
Ugh. I want to live there.
These pictures are awesome! Do you use a special type of editing app?
Such perfect photos! I agree that it is interesting to compare photos after traveling with someone to see the different perspective. Beautiful!
