Wanderlust: India

Every month I look forward to the behind the scenes photos from our catalog shoots. They allow me to live vicariously through our catalog team and provide a beautiful glimpse into the locations in which we shoot. As a follow up to our assistant catalog stylist’s experience in India, today I wanted to share some of the stunning behind the scenes images shot by Thomas Northcut. India, you are on my bucket list.

Missing the morning fog and unruly monkeys and flower sellers! The beautiful rose pics remind me of buying bouquets of roses for fifty cents from kids by the metro stop…

I spent a summer in Kerala on the southern west coast near the Arabian sea a few years ago. So beautiful. I miss it every day & would go back in a heartbeat.

Wow, really beautiful pictures, love them! But don’t you think it is a little inappropriate to shoot short dresses in India? (just my opinion ;), still nice pictures and nice clothes!)

Beautiful photos! I miss India so much, it’s gorgeous especially in the spring time. Also, Lisebeth it is perfectly acceptable to wear short dresses and/or other types of Western style clothing that may be inappropriate in other parts of the world. :)

I am amazed by your pictures every time. But this time your photos are beyond beautiful! The colors, the dust, nature, the people, the pureness, it is so inspiring. Looking at this is such a melancholic moment for me yet it make me smile. I’m glad I looked at this first thing in the morning, I will go and drink a nice cup of hot water with lemon and keep this feeling inside of me while I’m on my mat doing yoga. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing your experience, the pictures are aaaaamazing, i love them …

My first trip to India I got captivated for the magic, even it can be a big challenge to get out of our western comfort zone, the trip to India can really shift your perception about the world and about yourself as human being. After the first trip where actually I met my fiance, We got so inspired that we wanted to help other people to live this experience. So, two years later we organize our first trip, which was an incredible adventure for our participants and for ourselves. Now, 2.018 we are organizing our second trip, 16 nights around the north of India. Please if anybody is interesting in joining us this year and experience the magic of the incredible India. please check our website, we did it with all our love, specially the video, I filmed and Chloe, my partner did the edition.
