20 Days Of Movement Challenge

Welcome to our 20 day Movement challenge! To celebrate the launch of our new FP Movement line, we’re challenging you to 20 days of wellness. Every day we’ll be sharing an inspirational image, quote, recipe, or tip here on the blog.  In addition, we’d like to invite you to join us for a yoga challenge via the Free People instagram!  Our Managing Director of Creative is one of the most inspiring yogis in our office, and she’ll be sharing her wisdom with a 20 day challenge on instagram.  Follow along with us for the next 20 days, and challenge yourself to try the daily poses – upload a photo each day of yourself trying the pose of the day with the hashtag #20daysofmovement for a chance to win a package of our FP Movement yoga product at the end of the challenge! I am a big believer in the concept of doing what you love. I started yoga about 4 1/2 years ago, partially out of curiosity and partially because I was looking for a healthier lifestyle. I could not have made a better decision for myself and my family who, one by one, starting partaking in my yoga journey. I love sharing this with them – it is an incredible experience to watch my family grow healthy, focused and strong, with yoga becoming part of their daily challenges and triumphs. We practice Mysore Ashtanga specifically, so the majority of postures you’ll see are from the first two series…but please try a few! There are many different styles and teachers and you never know with what and with whom you’ll connect. Good luck and I hope you find this is something you love to do as well!

  1. This comes at a perfect time for me! I did yoga for many years. Then a year or more ago, my favorite teacher at my gym quit, and I didn’t like the new one, so I stopped. I have lost so much of my flexibility and strength. Plus yoga helped me stay sane through some bad times. I miss all of that. I decided yesterday that I’m changing gyms, and I really want to lose weight and get fit again. I’m going to use your 20 day challenge as inspiration! Thanks!
