Step inside the home of sisters Emma & Sarah, two of the amazing people we met in Atlanta. Sarah was the first person we met on our trip, at Octane Coffee. As author of the blog Cool Atlanta, she has a knack at uncovering all of the best spots within the city. Her sister, Emma, is part of the Free People family and spends her time working as the manager at Free People White Provision. Each has their own distinct personal style, but as I watched them interact, I could see their similarities as well – from the matching spear tattoo they have running down the length of their wrists, to the top knot hair-do they wear high on their head. I loved getting the chance to know these two ladies.
We kept running into them throughout the weekend, and they were kind enough to invite us into their home on Sunday morning before we all headed out for the last day of Shaky Knees. As brunch was being prepared, I made my way around their East Atlanta loft that is a combination of charming, hip, and bohemian – much like their personalities! Sarah’s room had a vintage feel, with little southwestern touches here and there, and a clean, simple color palette. Emma’s was colorful, with perfectly placed pictures hanging on each wall. I loved that each room had so many tiny details and so much care put into them. From little trinkets to the way things were organized, as I took a closer look, secrets of the space kept unfolding. Here’s a little tour of their beautiful, inspiring space!
