Movement Mixtape Contest

Music plays an important role in almost everything that I do.  But it’s particularly important to my work-outs.  So important, that it’s hard for me to get myself in the right mindset without it.  Certain songs just have the ability to get your blood pumping and your feet moving.  Sure, it varies depending on the type of exercise, but even when it comes to yoga, there are certain songs that can put me in the moment and motivate me.  With our new FP Movement line, I thought it would be fitting to do another mixtape contest – this time centered around songs that make you want to move.

Here’s how it works:

Select 5-10 songs that you like to listen to when working out.  Go to our RDIO page and add your song to our collaborative playlist, Movement. I’ve started it off with some songs below.  Once you’re finished adding your songs, leave a comment on this post listing the songs that you added. In one week we will select one winner’s mix to be featured on the blog, and the winner will also receive a $50 Free People gift card!

If you aren’t familiar with RDIO, you can register for free – then simply click on the link above to our mixYou’ll see a space above the first song that says “find a song to add to this playlist”  You will be able to search for songs and add them to the playlist right there on the page.

I can’t wait to hear what you all add!
