Love What You Do: Chantel Jiroch of Rawesome Juicery

When we travel for work, the best part is always the people we meet.  In Atlanta, we were lucky to meet many amazing and inspiring people – and one of them is Chantel Jiroch.

Chantel is the talented woman behind Rawesome Juicery, a juice stand located in Atlanta’s Sweet Auburn Curb Market.  The neighborhood in itself is steeped in history, being the childhood stomping grounds of Martin Luther King Jr.  The market opened in 1918 and serves as a farmer’s market for the urban community, selling fresh meats and produce from the farmlands surrounding the city.  Browsing the market’s wares, you can tell this is a place grounded in Southern tradition and culture, from the barbecue and soul food to the scents of delicious arepas and crepes that waft through the air. Chantel’s story is one of true motivation and perseverance.  Her passion is rooted in years of studying plant based nutrition and consulting and juicing for clients, and one day she decided to make her passion her work.  Years of hard work culminated in Rawesome Juicery, now a place where Atlanta residents can indulge in healthy juices, smoothies, and salads – that taste just as good as they are for you.  Listen to Chantel’s story below, and if you are ever in Atlanta be sure to stop by Rawesome Juicery! I recommend the Ultimate One and the Fat Burner, but I’m told the PB&J smoothie is to die for :).
