Morning Affirmations To Brighten Your Day

It’s no secret that I’m in love with morning affirmations. I believe so passionately in the power of the mind, and harnessing this power in a positive way through affirmations can be truly life changing.

Affirmations gain their power from repetition, so the more you say them the more they will impact and begin to shape your reality. Try to work them into your morning routine – personally I scribble them onto paper and stick them to my mirror as this always catches my eye and reminds me to take a moment to inspire my day.

The trick with affirmations is to allow yourself a few moments to be truly present and let go of any distractions. As you read over the words, feel the emotions they portray, and allow the inspiration to wash over your body.  This will help you not only relax, but also open your heart to believing that these statements are wholesome and true.

If you’re new to affirmations, here are a few simple ones perfect for the morning to get you started.

  1. Such a wonderful post!!! Positive affirmations have made such an incredible difference in my life. They helped me to write my first screenplay, and help me to continue to write. They also help bring more peace and serenity into each day. When I’m stressing about something, I especially love the affirmation “I’m expecting the highest outcome”, that one has worked wonders for me in releasing worry and manifesting positive outcomes!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

  2. What a wonderful post!
I will definitely try to start my day with morning affirmations! It seems to fit perfectly after my daily sun salutation.

    Thanks for the inspiring words!

  3. I recently had hip replacement surgery followed by knee replacement surgery so I use this affirmation after one of the above.
” I will not let pain get in my way today. I will be happy productive and helpful. I will be full of joy to be alive and I will overcome all obstacles.” It helps my put my pain in second place to having a good day in spite of the pain. I hope it might help others too.

  4. Every morning when I’m aware of waking up and before I open my eyes I name off a list of people and things I’m grateful for. I try to start the day off with positives and it helps me through the day.
