Free People Presents: If The Shoe Fits

This week is a celebration of one of our favorite things: Shoes. Last week, we shared Kristin Tice Studeman’s article about her fall ritual of shopping for the perfect jacket.  For me, it was always shoes.  Every August, I would get a new pair to wear to school – the smell of a fresh new pair, and that feeling when you find one that fits so perfectly, sticks with me still. I’m so excited about our new collection of shoes launching this week – from tall boots to heels to ankle boots, there is truly something for everyone. To celebrate the launch, we give you “If The Shoe Fits,” our latest video featuring Prince Charming (played by Mark Wystrach) on the hunt in a strange kindom (New York City) for his princess.  It’s one of my favorites to date – let us know your thoughts in the comments!

We’re also running a sweeps called If The Shoe Fits to celebrate the launch! Heart your favorite FP Collection Shoes for chance to win a year’s worth of FP Collection Shoes, and a trip to NYC for the Free People Summer’s End Rooftop Party! Click here for details on how to enter–good luck!

Oh my, yes. I cannot wait for Autumn to break out my leather boots! As much as I love my sandals, there’s nothing like knee high boots with knee socks peeking out. Love this little film – gorgeously done – so sweet!

Warm Regards,

Such an inventive and wonderfully fun video!!! I adore the transposition of fairy tale fantasy with modern day reality in the quest for the perfect woman, and more importantly >>> the perfect shoe <<<<

I tip my hat to FP….. another video so masterfully created!

p.s. It's my suspicion that last women in the video might have been "the one that got away" alas the prince did not try the shoe on her….. perhaps a future encounter will result in the "happily ever after" that the prince so desperately seeks….
