I’ve spent the last few months pouring over photos that are filling every inch of my news feed with my American friends’ summer adventures. But now, you kind of get the feeling that down here in Australia, we’re finally over the winter hump and the heat is slowly but surely on its way.
During this transitional period for us down here and y’all up there, I thought I’d share one of my favourite summertime meals to get us Aussies excited for the months ahead, and to help northern-hemispherians hold on to the season that was.
You can have this for breakfast or lunch depending on how you feel. It’s full of natural sugars, fiber and antioxidants so I love having it in the mornings after a run. Serve in a cute retro bowl for extra tropical vibes!
- 3 small frozen lady finger bananas
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- 1 packet frozen acai mix
- 1 tsp maca powder
- chia seeds
- coconut flakes
- passion fruit
