“Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don’t.”-Bill Nye
There’s so much to be learned from the beings who walk the earth with us. The beauty in each of us being unique is the endless amount of knowledge created by everyone. I think setting out to meet as many people as you can in a lifetime is one of the most rewarding endeavors to work towards.
I’ve always admired my dad’s wealth of knowledge, and a lot of it he owes to his love for reading. I’ve never seen him without a book in hand. Any question I ask him, he always has an answer. I think the people we encounter throughout the path of life are like the pages of a book. Each one different, and each one providing something to enrich the story. You never know what a simple “Hello” might teach you.

Beautifully said! I absolutely agree with you. I moved many times in my life and I’m grateful to have met so many awesome people (offline and online).

A very important point – anywhere any time…you can meet someone who will leave a footprint on your heart. I was speaking with someone who was hosting a Marketing dinner the other night and he told me always be careful about how you treat someone because you never know who they could be.
So into this post! Now I also want to splatter paint on all my photos, I mean my comp is covered in acrylic so it’s only natural!

Yes quoting Bill Nye! Love this. There is a line in the poem, Desiderata by Max Ehrmann that says: “Speak your truth quietly and clearly. Listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant. They too have their story.” It’s a great message, because we really can learn something from everyone.
I have to admit, I giggled when I saw that was Bill Nye quote!! great sentiment :-)

I wrote a similar blog post on my website- I believe that human connections are everything because the connections are what keeps our souls growing and aching for knowledge. I’m amazed by people’s stories and what they can teach me everyday. If I’m ever stuck, sad, or distracted by unimportant matters- I think about the people I’ve met that have left an impact in my life, and they encourage me to do better even without having to consult them! I’m very happy to see a blog post about this on here.
XO.
