1. First and foremost, I stay healthy and active. I practice yoga, I love to run, and I take some sculpting classes at Pop Physique. Always want to make sure my beach bum is in shape!

2. I live about 20 miles from the beach so I always pack everything I might need. I take my surfboard… and if the waves are no fun, I always have my skateboard in my truck.

3. I bring my portable speakers and my journal. Some days I go and lay out in the sand for hours. I put on my favorite music blog, “Reverberation Radio”, and draw, write, or just do nothing!

4. Once a week I prepare a homemade face mask. Usually it consists of avocado, honey, blueberries, oatmeal, cucumber, and vitamin E oil. I let my skin absorb that for about 15 minutes. When I rinse it off, I apply a homemade scrub which is just raw sugar and olive oil to exfoliate. This way my skin is fresh and ready to soak up the sun.

5. My favorite snack for the beach is pineapple. It’s full of water and vitamins, it acts as a natural Tylenol, and best of all, it doesn’t leave you bloated.

Whenever I need a quick getaway that seems like a vacation, I love heading up to a beach along the Malibu coastline. Its so secluded that I can easily pretend I’m on a tropical retreat in some faraway place. It’s a quick way for me to unwind and feel rejuvenated. I also always bring my sunhat sunscreen and a light portable beach chair to spend a lazy day watching the waves roll in.

Living in the Philippines, the beach is never very far away when I’m craving some serious sand, sun, and surf. My bathing suit ‘collection’ has grown seriously out of hand and I love always knowing I’m ready to hit the pool, or the waves, at any time with any suit fixed to my mood! I’m always up for an impromptu beach trip, and now for a stretched-out resort vacay.

I would loove to live near the beach! It would definitely incentivize me to go running :)
That face mask sounds lovely, I’ll definitely try it out!

Love her homemade face mask- I just started using coconut oil and tree tea oil to moisturize and my skin is so happy being chemical free!

Never forget water. One time I forgot I was dying. lol. My tip is to make sure you moisturize your hair too. Coconut oil or jojoba oil is my favorite. We tend to forget to protect our hair under the sun! :) Happy beach time everyone! <3

This article is totally ridiculous. How to have a beach body? 1. Have a body, 2. Go to the beach.
