It’s such a good feeling….
Sun shining, windows all the way down, warmth pressing against the skin. You can tell when spring hits, it’s almost as if the days have a special glimmer to them, sparkling as soon as the fresh air moves in. All winter long, the heat stays blasting, not even the slightest puff is allowed to seep outside of the car, then before you even know it, windows are open, hands waving in the wind as the car moves along, favorite tunes being belted at the top of your lungs. It’s a joyride, and there’s no slowing down.
What songs do you drive to with the windows down? If you need some help deciding, we reached out to a couple of our FP music committee members to lend a hand. They’ve created a perfect “windows down” playlist for the new season. We all want to live forever through the summertime!

It always makes me want to grab my girlfriends, throw on my fave sunnies, roll the windows down on a road trip to either a concert or the beach for a girls day!

Some songs take you back to summertime when you hear them, and “Stay Lost” by Athens, GA based band, White Violet, definitely does just that. With its breezy, beachy vibe, it makes me picture a summer afternoon with my friends heading out for an adventure

“Red Eyes” by The War on Drugs is such a feel good tune! Something about the melodic vibe of the song and Adam Granducie’s voice makes me instantly daydream to being outside, in the warm summer breeze, dancing in my happy place.
