The Best Festival Fashion from Shaky Knees 2015

Last Friday, beneath a canopy of lush, green foliage, the first few notes of a song cut through the already-hot Atlanta air.

This was the kickoff to what would be an incredible weekend of music at Shaky Knees 2015. On Friday afternoon the crowds had already begun to gather, and Dawn and I kept sharp eyes between sets, looking for inspiring style to capture.

I’ve always loved any kind of street style, but festival style tops my list; unlike most of what you see represented at various Fashion Weeks, there’s a certain candidness the surrounds (most) festival style. To me, the best outfits are the unstudied ones, where you can tell the wearer is completely comfortable. Not peacocking in any way but simply wearing their look. While prior years have seen rain, the weather this past weekend was nothing short of perfection, which meant music fans could truly let their personalities shine. What I saw was diverse, but common threads ran throughout: Tons of denim was on display, as were flat shoes (hallelujah), light layers, and cute high waisted shorts. Scroll on for a few of my favorite outfits:

Cool choices. I’d have to go with the denim looks. They’re super chic. :]

I’m loving the style! Is Shaky Knees mainly a fashion festival?
