Festival Fashion at Bonnaroo 2015

This post comes from our Regional Social Media Manager, Dawn!

How do you define festival style? I’m not sure that you can.

I do know that festivals are a time when many people let loose from their normal everyday fashion and opt for a more unique look, which is one of the reasons why people-watching is so much fun at music festivals. I love to “style watch” and do it so naturally (unconsciously) that I don’t even realize I’m doing it until I have to remind myself, “HELLO Dawnnnnn, an incredible band that you love is playing…

Bonnaroo is one of my favorite festivals and with 85,000+ music lovers in attendance, there is plenty of people and style watching to do. Of course you can always count on seeing lots of people wearing denim cutoffs, but this particular year I was pleasantly surprised to see my ladies representing more soft shorts, matching sets, skirts and dresses than I remember from years’ past. From outfits consisting of “just a bikini” to a fully accessorized maxi dress look, and styles that characterized every FP girl, from Meadow to Candy to Lou, diversity and uniqueness were well represented at Bonnaroo this year. Here is a roundup of some of my favorite looks from this past weekend’s festival:

Why are the girls from the fashionshoots always so thin? Do you shoot more normal bodies please….a Girl from germany….

Janina are you implying that the women above are not normal? As someone whose body looks like the festival goers featured above and leads a happy, healthy life full of delicious food I take offence to the idea that I am not ‘normal’ by your classification.

Katie no-one said you were unhealthy – it’s just that the pics are always of a particular shape and size – not all of us are that shape most women aren’t so it would be nice to see a cross section. you seem to be touchy and read things into it
