We’re off on our next great FP Me adventure! This time we are trading in the tropical environment and white beach sand for teepees and desert heat. We are leaving all digital accessories at home, “unplugging” as one would say, from our everyday lives and focusing on the moments before us. We are heading to a place with breathtaking landscapes that have been chiseled by nature for thousands of years. A place with the feeling of such seclusion it will leave you breathless.
Free People is taking on Moab, Utah.
From yoga in the morning, to hiking in the afternoon and dinner around the campfire we got you covered. We have put together our Free People essentials to get you through all your camping needs, desert style.
There is no better way to start your day than with a little yoga, moving your attention inward until you rest in the true nature of Moab. The cool desert air and bright morning sunshine is the perfect setting to experience happiness and liberation. Pair the High Neck Seamless Top with the Ruched Seamless Shorts for an ideal combo of stretch and comfort. Throw your hair into a topknot with our Elastic Hair Ties and it’s time to accept the divine consciousness of the day before you.
Hiking in the Canyons:
With temperatures reaching the high 80s and 90s during the summer months in Moab things can get tricky when trying to decide what to hike in. The Ma Bae Jumper is the perfect mid-day outfit to romp around in while visiting the canyons. Layer with the Outlaw Boyfriend Short, and don’t forget your hat and FP Vintage Bandana to cool you off from that summer heat. Ready for a swim? Ditch the jean shorts and transition your jumper into the perfect Colorado River accessory.
As the day turns to night and the stars start to blanket the sky we look for a warmer layer to end the night in. With temperatures still in the high 60s at night, the Runner Stripe Poncho is a perfect go-to. Light and easy to layer, it’s a must have for a campfire among the arches. Pared back with our favorite Free People Irreplaceable Cut Offs you are ready to end your night roasting marshmallows over the campfire.
So, as we load up our gear and head out west to embark on this Moab adventure we are excited. Excited to leave all modern technology behind and embrace these next few days of opportunity. To reset our minds, jump start creativity and get back to nature with nothing but inspiration around us. So pack up your hiking shoes and don’t forget your water and sunscreen! We shall see you in the Canyonlands…
