What to Pack: FP Me Goes to Moab!

We’re off on our next great FP Me adventure! This time we are trading in the tropical environment and white beach sand for teepees and desert heat. We are leaving all digital accessories at home, “unplugging” as one would say, from our everyday lives and focusing on the moments before us. We are heading to a place with breathtaking landscapes that have been chiseled by nature for thousands of years. A place with the feeling of such seclusion it will leave you breathless.

Free People is taking on Moab, Utah.

From yoga in the morning, to hiking in the afternoon and dinner around the campfire we got you covered. We have put together our Free People essentials to get you through all your camping needs, desert style.

With temperatures reaching the high 80s and 90s during the summer months in Moab things can get tricky when trying to decide what to hike in. The Ma Bae Jumper is the perfect mid-day outfit to romp around in while visiting the canyons. Layer with the Outlaw Boyfriend Short, and don’t forget your hat and FP Vintage Bandana to cool you off from that summer heat. Ready for a swim? Ditch the jean shorts and transition your jumper into the perfect Colorado River accessory.

Get the look: Runner Stripe High Low Poncho, Irreplaceable Cut Offs, Round Top Ranger Hat

As the day turns to night and the stars start to blanket the sky we look for a warmer layer to end the night in. With temperatures still in the high 60s at night, the Runner Stripe Poncho is a perfect go-to. Light and easy to layer, it’s a must have for a campfire among the arches. Pared back with our favorite Free People Irreplaceable Cut Offs you are ready to end your night roasting marshmallows over the campfire.
