Not only were these two my co-workers, but they were my friends. Some of the best ones at that. This here blog is what ultimately made our paths cross, and getting the chance to work closely with two of the most creative people I know helped me grow immensely in my role here at FP.
It’s crazy how fast things can change. You don’t realize how much influence people actually have on your life until they’re taken out of your daily routine. After Brigette and Julia both moved away, I felt a little piece of myself leave with them, too.
Memorial Day Weekend was (I think?) the first time the three of us had the opportunity to hang out all together, rather then on separate occasions. Jules flew in from Austin, so Brigette and I met her in Ocean City, NJ to spend the day at her shore house and catch up in a well needed “touch base” that was long overdue.
One thing that the three of us all have in common is a love for taking photos. Film, digital, phone… whatever format, I’m almost positive that none of us have gone a day in the last couple of years where we didn’t take a picture. For work and for pleasure, it’s what we do, and personally, there’s nothing I love more.
We spent a long day under the sun, talking and reminiscing about past times, taking a few photos here and there as we walked around the neighborhood that Julia grew up in.
There’s never a dull moment with these two. Thanks for the fun, the laughs, and a sweet little reunion.
