Scenes From The Office

It’s ironic that, on the week a new crop of summer interns descend upon the Navy Yard, the temperature here in Philadelphia decides to plummet.

We spent most of this week grumbling about the cold, bundled up in warm layering pieces, but by Friday afternoon the skies had cleared and late spring had joined us once again. True to east coast form, if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute.

Of course, a new group of interns means the sartorial inspiration has been off the charts around here. On even the most typical of days I love seeing how my coworkers decide to clothe themselves, but our summer interns truly bring something special to the mix. Hailing from across the globe, personalities and self-expression shine, rubbing off on those of us who take notice. A new way to wear a favorite shoe, or that extra inch of cuff at the bottom of your jeans, what better time than the cusp of summer to infuse your world with a healthy dose of inspiration?
