Classic sneakers go next-level with these simple and smart styling secrets.

This post comes from our blog intern, Emily!

If I asked all my friends to count how many pairs of shoes they have, I would definitely come in last. I rarely purchase shoes and, when I do, I tend to stick to the same style –sneakers. I wear them five out of seven days. Give me a prime ankle boot or pair of combat boots on the side, and I just might wear heels on a very special occasion.

But I’m most at home in my kicks.

If you want to dress up your sneakers, consider throwing an anklet on your high tops.

Elevate your outfit with a structured blazer, and brighten with a pop of color. This can be worn just about anywhere.

I’m a huge fan of this sneaker — I have the grey pair and the black. This coral color, though… It’s perfect for spring and the warmer months to come. A dark and flowy romper, dress or skirt creates great contrast with this bright, structured sneak.

These Vans, a black jumper and some jewelry is all you need. Let the shoes speak for themselves!

Make your bodycon sporty by adding some sneakers and you’ll be ready for whatever, with zero complaints.

Last, but certainly not least, an optical white, high-top Puma with texture, an update on the classic skater shoe and sure to make you feel badASS. Even more awesome loose and un-tied.

I have an amazingly old pair of Converse sneakers that I got for my 16th birthday, and I still love to wear them!

I used to hate sneakers (other than Chucks, of course) but my husband is a total sneaker head and he has been slowly converting me. Now I have a pair of Pumas I was pretty regularly and I am craving more sneakers. Those white high top Pumas are kind of calling my name… I also want a pair of classic white high top chucks!

Loving the white kicks at the end. Sporty yet still a boho style. Loving this post a lot. Different from what I usually see on here.
