Get a golden BTS glimpse of our latest lookbook, shot in the dusty lands of Red Rock Canyon, California…
Two hours northeast of the LA skyline lies a place so surreal it’s as though you landed in a different part of the country… hell, forget states, you’re in a different universe now as the sun beats down from a cloudless blue sky. Black crows soar through your squinted peripheral vision, their sleek black feathers a harsh contrast against the bright sky. The wind howls and the loose dirt takes flight, dusting its surroundings before settling on a new home. And then, as if a door to this new universe has been shut, the wind turns off completely and you find yourself fighting the piercing heat yet again. But that’s not even the supernatural part yet.
Standing stories high, and from what seems to be from out of nowhere, massive red and green rock formations jut out from the barren land. The walls of these formations are layered in color, tall columns pour down like dried dripping wax. To stand before them is like standing before a king, humbled and meager. The greenery is sparse — dehydrated and exposed. The land out here is desolate and parched, but overflowing with fascinating beauty and wonder. Red Rock Canyon is the champion location to shoot our latest lookbook, Desert Drifter, featuring model Kate Amundsen. Have a sneak of the behind the scenes photos below.
