The Namaste Mix: Music for Your Yoga Practice

Find your focus in this meditative playlist.

Center. Focus. Align. Balance. We all have different reasons for our yoga or meditation practice. However, I think we may all agree that the music involved can set the tone for a great session. Have you ever been to a yoga class where the instructor doesn’t play music? I have. And oooooph, it’s a rough one. Sure, maybe I am missing the point of yoga (?), but when I don’t have music to accompany my practice, I find it much harder to focus. Or what about trying to do yoga at home but your neighbors are raging and every car alarm on your block seemingly goes off at the same time? (Where my New York yogis at?) Distractions are abundant and everywhere, especially when we’re in search of some much needed quiet. Well, here is where we try to help. Just throw on your headphones, hit ‘play’ on this mix, shut your eyes and be whisked away to the peaceful zen garden in your head.
