I’m in the Mood

The seventies are calling and we are in the MOOD to answer…

As (s0me of us are) 80s and 90s babies, most of us know mood rings as dinky novelty items we got as kids. But they were all the rage in the 1970’s, one of the biggest fashion fads of that era. Representing self love and personal awareness, we could not think of a better time to welcome this trend back!

The mood ring craze was such a success that it generated $1M in revenue within the first three months of its being sold to the public. Each mood ring contains a temperature-sensitive liquid crystal encased in quartz. As the body temperature of the wearer changes, the crystal changes color, with each indicative of the wearer’s current mood or feeling…

  1. I was almost an adult in the 70’s I remember having one…to me they were and still are a trinket… something that caught the imagination….just don’t let it determine your mood! LOL

  2. I wear them every day. One finger always has one on (I have a ton of different ones). They are a good way for my students to predict my mood!

  3. I am a child of the 70’s. I love that era and all that came with it. I am still a bell bottom wearing, Afro rocking, mood ring kind of girl.
