Post image for Road Map Nails Inspired By Roshambo: Paper-Scissors

The third Roshambo video brings us back to where it all began: Paris. The final chapter in the series was filmed throughout the streets of Paris, so this inspired me to try a transfer technique on my nails using a map of the magical city. For something that looks complicated, it’s actually really simple to achieve. You can do this with any map, and it’s fun to pick out certain places that you may have traveled to or special spots that you want to put on your nails. Read more »

tip: Make sure to test on a small part of your face or on your arm. I did this mask but added mashed bananas and olive oil, and i didn't think i was allergic to any of these things and i put it all over my face. A couple minutes later my whole face was stinging and red and i was having a reaction. So, definitely test it first!

something about this post propelled me to buy the kevin aucoin Celestial Powder and do this beauty tip, and it could be my favorite thing ever! the powder is gorgeously shimmery — no jersey shore at all! and smudging some into the corners of my eyes seriously transforms my face. honestly the best beauty tip i've used in years! thanks, FP! I have baby fine silky hair and must use wax to create and maintain my dreads. Common sense. Apply as little as possible. and when shampooing them, rinse in hot water and use dread soap. Never add wax to wet or damp hair.

Post image for Short Hair Styling Tips From FP Girls

I have long hair but in the summertime I’m always tempted to chop it off…in this heat, shorter locks seem so much lighter and cooler.  The last time I cut my hair short was years ago and I never knew how to style it, so I’ve kept it long ever since.  But I always envy those girls who pull it off so well — for example, Anja Rubik’s perfectly tousled locks in our July book. It seemed like the perfect time to get some styling tips from our home office girls who rock the shorter hair — those of you with short hair, share your tips in the comments! Read more »

Post image for Voluminous Hair In 4 Steps

People often ask me how I get so much volume in my hair. Truth be told, my hair is naturally puffy and slightly unruly, so for me it’s usually more about trying to tame it down – but there are easy ways to give your hair a nice lift, and today I’m going to share some! Read more »

Thanks for the tips! The only thing I am confused about is dry shampoo. I went to a local drug store, and every single brand had the ingredient propane in it. Is this bad? I am sceptic.
Elyse -Sep 04, 2013, 3:41PM
you have awesome hair! I have been doing a few of these and i do believe that where my part is, my hair is a bit more volumized rather than flat and the hair drying up (or upsidedown) is an immediate result which I love!
