Post image for What’s Your Perfume Scent?

Everyone has their own scent, a scent that goes well with their personality and spirit and makes them a little more magical than what they are already. It’s the scent that catches people’s breath when you walk by, a scent that’s reminiscent of who you are. Read more »

Post image for Homemade Coconut Lavender Conditioner

After doing this post on homemade coconut milk shampoo, we had some requests for a conditioner to go along with it, so here you go! Read more »

Anonymous -Mar 03, 2015, 11:34AM
Hello! I made the coconut shampoo this weekend and used peppermint oil to frangrance. I'm wondering if peppermint or citrus oil could be used for making the conditioner as well. I'm a huge fan of peppermint and citrus oils so it's just my preference. If anyone has used a different oil please let me know which oil you used and how you liked the end result. I plan on making the conditioner this week. Thanks

My mom and I just used this for the first time today and ended up with a greasy mess of hair this morning. We both had to wash our hair a 2nd time afterwards. I am wondering if there is just something to dilute it with to make it less greasy? Mine is so solid it is almost the consistency of a candle. Could I warm it up and dilute it with water or something else?? Any advice would be MUCH appreciated it! We really want to use it and figure out how to make it work better.

Post image for Awake And Cleanse: My Favorite Drink

For many months now I have been drinking lemon, honey, ginger and cayenne pepper throughout the day. It awakens me and stimulates my senses. Ginger is very good for the stomach and the lemon and cayenne pepper help to open up the nasal passages, allowing a nice breathing pattern. I always have a sweet tooth — especially during mid-day — and the honey in the drink helps to soothe it. Read more »

I love both! I currently have on Essie Where's my chauffeur? and I love it!! What brand/shade is the coral orange in this photo? I love it and it's so hard to find a good one for fair skin.

Living on a ranch, I'll just appreciate those lucky ladies who get to wear nail polish! My feet are in boots year round especially during the spring/summer (let's hear it for rattlesnakes) so I'm most happy with a pedicure, and then (also being an artist) I allow for creative freedom for the pedicurist with my toes! :-)

Hi Fp jemma I love vibe-rent colors. Always try lipstick shades according to the skin tone. Now its spring, finally time to start switching out all those dark and moody makeup hues for something that feels a little brighter and fresher.

Urban decay also has an amazing coral lipstick, and it's vegan:)

Post image for Festival Hair: A Quick And Easy Style

After day one at a festival your hair becomes a little windswept and unruly, and if you’re camping there’s a slim chance of getting the opportunity to wash it. The best thing to do is to tie it up out of your way. We’ve thought of a cute idea to keep your hair back while still making it look festival savvy: the double braid.

also, about all this ph business, i think everyone needs to just calm down. there's no silicones or parabens or sulphates and you dont end up looking like you're allergic to hygiene, so, as far as im concerned, it's good! no complaints thus far, just happy, pretty hair :)
Anna -Apr 23, 2015, 11:05PM
I love this so much! to those confused about the coconut milk, i honestly dont think it matters what kind. Just check the ingredients, and if you like how it looks, go for it. But after you open the can of milk, you're supposed to refrigerate it, so i assume that applies to the shampoo too. Plus, when mine's been in the fridge, it turns shampoo consistency instead of being watery.

Post image for Homemade Natural Bronzer Recipe

When spring hits, I always feel the need to add a little sun-kissed color to my face. I’m naturally pale and don’t have the ability to tan in the slightest, but I think that any shade of skin can get a refreshing pick-me-up from a nice bronzing powder! Read more »

Finally got brave and tried this. I am amazed at how nice the ingredients blended together. My first try it was too light and I found out that this recipe could also be used as a natural face powder as well. Added more cocoa powder and it was the perfect shade I needed (about 2 1/2 tsp total cocoa powder did the trick). Thanks for posting this! I am very excited to start using it on a daily basis as I've tried almost everything for my sensitive skin.
