Post image for Festival Hair: A Quick And Easy Style

After day one at a festival your hair becomes a little windswept and unruly, and if you’re camping there’s a slim chance of getting the opportunity to wash it. The best thing to do is to tie it up out of your way. We’ve thought of a cute idea to keep your hair back while still making it look festival savvy: the double braid.

I made this shampoo and I find that it's too much lather so that must be from the Dr bon ners, but I did put in the exact amount.

Maybe it would be better to reduce the amount of castile soap as it has a pH level of 10, and hairs pH level is betweet 4 and 5, so it could cause major damage to your scalp if you use it often, Castile soap should be very diluted, 1 part of soap to 40 parts of water, and still the pH would be too alkaline for our scalp.

Post image for Homemade Natural Bronzer Recipe

When spring hits, I always feel the need to add a little sun-kissed color to my face. I’m naturally pale and don’t have the ability to tan in the slightest, but I think that any shade of skin can get a refreshing pick-me-up from a nice bronzing powder! Read more »

Finally got brave and tried this. I am amazed at how nice the ingredients blended together. My first try it was too light and I found out that this recipe could also be used as a natural face powder as well. Added more cocoa powder and it was the perfect shade I needed (about 2 1/2 tsp total cocoa powder did the trick). Thanks for posting this! I am very excited to start using it on a daily basis as I've tried almost everything for my sensitive skin.

Good tutorial! I never would have thought of this. Should a gel be used to keep the hair style in place? Summer humidity does cause some frizzing.

Post image for Jemma’s Daily Essentials

On a daily basis, I have certain essentials that I need to carry with me all the time, it’s a mild OCD. I feel like my day is not complete without them. I believe most people have this trait, and I’m always curious to see what little things people like to carry along with them. Whether it’s in their bag, placed on their work space to look at everyday at work, or just things that they feel they need to have around them in their space. It says a lot about one’s personalty I think.

My daily essentials are quite common, with a little obscurity about them – take a look at my daily essentials. We’d love to know what yours are, too. Read more »

Hi Jemma, I was just wondering if you take the recommended amount of the tea pills. I looked it up because I also would like to try it out, and it says to take 8 pills 3 times a day. I was just wondering how many you take, and if you notice a difference with the amount you take. Thank you, I love this entry!
