This is the Rain Man Decanter by Matilda Sunden Ringner, and it is pretty darn cool. If I had one of these, I think I would be constantly looking for stuff that needed poured or watered, just so I could watch it…

This looks like so much fun! This wallpaper is perfect for those of us who are tempted to write and draw all over our walls, or who have children prone to do the same. It was created by Jon Burgerman, and can be bought from this store in the UK.
See some other cool wallpapers we’ve come across in our internet travels here, here, and here!
I saw this coloring wallpaper on Freshome.
We are loving this new book by friend of Free People, Bilyana Dimitrova called To Each His Home. The book highlights eight really imaginative homes with beautiful photographs by Bilyana. Above are some sneak peak images of the book. You can see more on the website. Wouldn’t you love to live in one of these?
She has also set up a flickr group where you can share photos of your own creative home! Check out the info here.
How cute is her announcement with the handwritten note?
I love these cute little mushroom stumps made by Small Stump. They are like mini-worlds to escape into! I want to be a tiny person that sits on the mushrooms…
I am loving this cute little pumpkin stationary from Winifred Studios! I love the different patterns on the pumpkins!
It’s a very rainy day here today, and it’s got me wanting these umbrellas extra-much! They are so fun and cute!
I love these benches that look like scrabble trays, with pillow letters! They remind me of playing scrabble with my parents as a kid, and losing terribly, haha! The pillow letters would be fun by themselves too! The benches were designed and created by Stephen Reed for the lobby of a company in London. When I was browsing his site, I also saw these really cool alphabet paperclips! A very fun idea!
Ashley from New York, NY: I created a wall of graphic, yet ladylike, art with just a quart of black paint. The silhouettes were printed on full-sheet labels and then the black squares were painted around them before removing the labels. The shapes could be changed to suit another room (fruit and vegetable shapes for a kitchen, etc).

Oh Joy! shared the newest wallpaper styles from Flavor Paper, and I am impressed. Definitely bookmarking this site for when I live in a place that I can actually invest in such wallpaper…
I love all the trompe l’oeil patterns the best. They look like a classic toile or floral or geo pattern, until you get a good look. Like the first one is mutaches, and the third is a fire hydrant and rats! But check out the site (Flavor Paper), they have some other really amazing prints that aren’t so tricky…
I found these awesome light switches in fuckychickendesign’s Etsy shop! There are many cute designs besides these too – I just need to figure out which ones I want to grace my apartment!
