Over the weekend FP Shani and I had the incredible opportunity to take a little trip to Terrain at Styer’s in Glen Mills for a beautiful evening of chatting with awesome people and eating delicious fall cuisine in the most gorgeously decorated space imaginable. Read more »
This time of year I always find myself itching to change up my home décor. Maybe it’s the weather change. Maybe it’s the notion of fall marking a new beginning, as it always has since I was little. Read more »
Decorating for the seasons is so much fun – you get to infuse your home with décor that actually makes your home feel like a particular season. Read more »
I go through phases every once in a while when I get really sick of my apartment, and that’s when I know it’s time for some redecorating. It tends to happen around the turn of the season, which makes sense. As the weather and our wardrobes are changing, spring’s pastel palette and neon summer hues are replaced by rustic, muted shades and cozy textures. For my home, though, I want to bring some green indoors so that I can still enjoy it once the leaves fall from the trees. Here’s some of my current home décor inspiration!
Do you ever dream of being a nomad? I think it’s something that crosses all of our minds at one point or another. Traveling from place to place with no destination in sight; living in a beat up caravan that’s covered in beautiful tapestries inside and overflowing with little trinkets you’ve collected along the way. We’re closing in on the first week of September and that means that it’s time to start embracing fall full-force! If you’re not already in the mood for fall, let me give you a little nudge: red, orange, and yellow leaves falling gracefully to the ground in the light, cool breeze. Skinny jeans with thick, cozy socks; light jackets; and scarves thrown loosely around your neck. Read more »
I love the Wild West. To be honest, I’ve never really been out west – except for during a cross-country road trip I took a few summers ago and perhaps a little trip I took as a teenager – but there’s something about cowboys & Indians, horses, cacti, and tumbleweeds that’s just so intriguing. I love having an eclectic kitchen. When I buy plates, bowls, glasses, and silverware, I usually only buy one of each piece (which is easy enough if you’re getting it all from a thrift store!) – I love being able to mix everything up, with no two pieces the same. Read more »
