Salt on the skin, sun kissing the nose, piecey waves in the hair. A day spent in the spa has absolutely nothing on a day spent on the beach. Read more »

Okay, first I love the shells! Even though they are just for show, I feel like they add something that just makes the whole spray more natural. haha. Lavender is really great, but I am wondering what other options I can use? What about season spray scents like peppermint? Would that be too much? I guess there is only one way to find out! Thanks for this. Your pictures are incredible - love love love! Great DIY Sea Salt Spray.

Lydia - It doesn't take much for coconut oil to melt. Just the heat of your hands will do it. If you keep the spray in your bathroom where it's usually humid it should pretty much stay liquid :). I keep a tub in my pantry in my kitchen and it never returns to solid form.

I've been wanting to do this for a while...and finally did. I even made tealight candles. I had everything ready to give for presents, and then I tested one! Big old fire! I'm so glad I tested before giving. I used sticky bumps, and now trying to find a wax that won't burn the house down. Test before you give!!

Fabulous! I use all the unscented, fragrance free products. What a great idea though. However, I only pack clothing that barely wrinkles and I do roll some clothing. In fact, almost everything I buy needs no ironing. I do the shower trick if needed and it does work. After I tighten the closures in the suitcase I then carefully fold jackets, including leather on top and they come out great. Usually on travel day I wear an outer garment - coat, jacket - so I don't have to pack it.

Post image for DIY Pressed Flower Phone Case

Pressed flowers and leaves are something I just can’t seem to get enough of. It’s gotten to the point where, at any given point, I have a bunch hidden between the pages of various books in my home just waiting for a time I’ll want to use them. This DIY is my favorite way to use pressed flowers yet.

Oh the joys of the paper pot press. I actually hadn’t the slightest clue what a pot press was until just recently, when our friends over at Terrain granted us one, along with no other instruction than to do with it as we pleased… Now I’m in love.

Careful to those of you planning to use this to prevent skin reactions it's a temporary fix only it will wear off and makes it difficult to sterilize the jewelry later on!
