these are beautiful! I made them for my mom on Mothers Day and she absolutely LOVED them the only problem was that after a few days the color of the flowers started changing colors and now the stunning purple of the lavender has become a yellow color, so I'm going to try to make them again today and see if I can improve the result.

i tried making this with the dried lavender and it turned brown!! it looks terrible. any idea how to prevent it from turning brown SO quickly?

Post image for Alternative Pumpkin Decorations

Now is the perfect time to start preparing your house for fall festivities, and with Halloween just around the corner, we wanted to share a few alternative ideas for decorating pumpkins and gourds! Read more »

All great ideas!

All three are very nice. When I yarn wrap my pumpkins, I hot-glue the beginning of the yarn only, then tuck it under at the end. When I'm done using it for decoration, just unwind and the yarn lives to become another project. I am so happy to have discovered your blog!

Post image for DIY Fall Garland

It may not be holiday season, but there’s no reason we can’t celebrate fall season by decorating our homes with garland. Today we’re talking about making garland from an autumn staple: pinecones. This is a really simple DIY that is best done sitting around a fire (whether outdoors or in), laughing with loved ones. Maybe you can even start it off by taking a walk with friends, collecting pinecones and any other bits of nature that have fallen to the ground this season. Read more »

Subwoofers could possibly be purchased separately, includes the satellite speakers. Make sure that you simply do your research well at home appliance stores with your area or possibly, read some reviews online to find out the very best theater to invest on. The most essential much of this product is its home audio speakers, which can be responsible to the sound output from the system.

Who could have though that cleaning jewelry can be so easy and inexpensive using what most of us have in the house, great advice!

Post image for DIY Mason Jar Cozy

When I was in Portland, I had coffee one morning at a place called Courier Coffee.  They serve their coffee in mason jars, and also sell adorable handmade cozies to protect your hands from the hot glass. I have plenty of mason jars here at work, so I was inspired to make my own mason jar cozy so that this winter I can use mason jars for my coffee at work! Read on to learn how to make your own. Post image for Yarn Bombed Plants

Ever since I first saw images of yarn bombing, I have always wanted to have a go at it.  Yarn bombing is a form of street art that has spread throughout cities all over the world, and unlike permanent graffiti, it is easy to remove if necessary.  Artists have been choosing anything they desire to yarn bomb, from stand-up telephone booths to even cars. To see such vibrant colors on everyday objects is such a pleasing surprise. Read more »
