I always love incorporating natural wood into my home – especially in the kitchen. I was feeling really inspired by our Sacred Geometry lookbook, and thought it could be cool to interpret the idea using wooden kitchen tools like a cutting board and some spoons. Read more »

Post image for DIY Reversible Instagram Coasters

Tile coasters are always great for around the house. They protect surfaces from your sweating drink, and they can be great décor accents. I love the idea of tile coasters, but I also love the idea of using instagram images as coaster surfaces. For this DIY, I took those two elements and combined them to make a set of reversible coasters. These are super simple to make, customizable to your liking and perfect for gifting! Read more »

I actually did this but with a slight twist. I added a piece of plexi glass to the front and some of the sand as well. It looked really nice with the embroidered card stock, shells, bit of driftwood and feathers. I really appreciate the idea, it was fantastic and easy to do, I just added the plexi glass because I have all these vials of sand as well, and this was a great way to use one of the larger ones.

This is super neat for anyone who likes nature. It's a great way to display treasures and memories. I actually have a small picture display in my house using vases instead of frames, so I'm always looking for more neat display ideas. always measure your rope 3 times the size you want your length of project when finished! I am starting a similar piece today I don't even measure unless it's something like a lets say a frog that holds a towel and soap then yea have to I am cutting 20 cords ( for width ) at least room length long to make a wall hanging for all my birds to climb on! I am using hemp rope so if they chew on it it won't hurt them! I love using natural ropes and hemp rather than nylon even if pattern calls for nylon. I hope to post pics later today on progress! I love this idea and mine strtred from seeing this one!
