Sometimes, as winter blankets our surroundings with its bitter chill, it’s tough to stay fashionably motivated. Rising out of bed in the morning involves a laborious upheaval from an all-too-comfortable toasty nest. The last thing you want to do is spend time, half-naked in a drafty bedroom, pulling an outfit together. It tends to turn into, “grab the first items in your drawer, and pile them on as fast as you can.”
To dress well as the air gets chillier though, we’ve come to realize that the under layer becomes less important. To pull off a great look that won’t leave you freezing, it’s all about that top winter layer.
