For this week’s Office Style we had a lovely mix of spring Bohemia mixed with cool androgynous pieces like an over-sized mens coat, a chunky vintage grandpa cardigan, and boots that look like well-traveled. We loved the mix of lace, velvet, prints, and layered jewelry with menswear pieces.
I own a pair of sneakers but only find myself wearing them when I’m working out or commuting to the yoga studio. This weeks shopable street style comes from LA. A retro-cool look that’s quirky and fun, we love so much about Elena’s look. We love that she’s has teamed a vintage dress with a more structured blazer, and accessories that look like they have just popped out of the 50′s. My style always varies I jump from being girlie, to a more tomboy look all the time depending on the mood I’m in. I think your style says a lot about your personality, your lifestyle and the way you think. You can change the way you dress accordingly to fit your mood but I always find no matter what look you choose, you always have that one style trait that you can never get rid of. For this week’s office style, we captured looks that were relaxed and bohemian. From distressed jeans with a pop of color to maxi skirts and printed tunics, our ladies seemed to be looking very “Meadow”. These outfits were perfect for staying comfortable and warm during our cold and rainy weather this week in Philly.
This week’s Shopable Street Style is another look from London Fashion Week. You can always count on London to sophisticate any look, even overalls. We love how this look comes across as effortlessly chic. Overalls can actually be dressed up, all you have to do is team them with the right accessories.
We are huge layering fans here at Free People, and it’s rare that I go a day without having some sort of layered component in what I’m wearing.
