When I first heard about our trend featured on the homepage this week, one thing immediately came to mind: smoke bombs. We happened to have a couple boxes of them, leftover from when we relaunched the blog back in April. I jumped at the chance to break them back out to shoot some vignettes of some of my favorite items featured in the Smoke Signals trend! I think it’s fair to say that each and every one of us has a pair of denim cutoffs in our wardrobe that we love and wear to death. I know I do and they are my most go-to item come winter, spring, summer, or fall. The denim cutoff is so versatile that it’s hard not to wake up, open your wardrobe door, and reach straight for them.
As you all already know, New York Fashion Week is underway the runways are full of collections for Autumn/Winter 2013. We have been keeping our eyes peeled for fresh looks on the runways and on the streets. Despite the ice cold weather and the high speed winds of blizzard Nemo, we headed to New York City on Friday to capture street style outside of Lincoln Center. Every season during NYFW, the fashion parade hits the sidewalks and entertains us with unique looks, daring statements, and enough color and print that make our heads turn not just once but twice.
