You in NY?? Check out Williamsburg Fashion Weekend. Here’s some info from them:
“Williamsburg Fashion Weekend continues to show the work of designers that have their fingers on the hip and now, with a nod to the past and wide-open eyes on the future. In this, our third season, we’ve assembled a group of eight Brooklyn-based designers who make one-of-a-kind or small-run collections, with an emphasis on fair-trade, eco-friendliness, and artisan techniques that celebrate the handmade and the visionary.”
Check out the website for location info and links to some of the participating designers.

Over the past few seasons, I have noticed belts moving from the high hip belts and being worn at varying heights and being styled in different ways!
Shown above is the Studded Crocodile Belt, worn at the natural waist.
Here we have our Embellished Side Stretch Belt in natural combo, worn in the classic style, through the belt loops at the high hip.
Shown above is the Studded Chasm Belt in black, worn over the shirt and hitting more toward the lower hip.

What a great idea to have everyone send in photos of themselves wearing Free People clothes in real life! I love the way you all think on this site.
So, I’ve been noticing fringe popping up on lots of our latest accessories, and I’m liking it.
There are so many different ways to fringe it up!
Check out our Fringe Belt.
We also have a cute Glittered Fringe Scarf.
Finally, we have a Mezzo Fringe Clutch – and that’s not even everything!
Which do you think is the best way to wear fringe?

Hey Pruitt! You haven't put up a new wallpaper design for my desktop in awhile!!! I'm still using the last one that was posted and I'm getting kinda tired of it!!! Anything new would be much appreciated!!!
One week from today, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is opening an exhibition of the Gee’s Bend Quilts! Gee’s Bend is a small, poor town in Alabama that has become widely-known for its quilting. The quilts of Gee’s Bend take a different angle on normal quilting techniques, and they are just amazing. If you are near Philadelphia you should definitely go look at these quilts (there are 74 of them!) before the exhibition ends in December. It’s $14 to get in to the museum, unless you go on Sunday, when it’s pay what you want all day!
Check out more pictures of the quilts here.

I've been working with the quilters for over five years producing rugs based on the quilts. I'm having a moving sale, and my Gee's Bend Quilt Collection rugs are all 75% off. Prices start at $99. Please see the rugs at www.classicrug.com and call me at 888-334-0063 to check on availability. The quilters get a royalty on every rug that I sell.
