a few weeks ago we invited one of our loyal fans to come visit the home office for a day, and our videographer put together this sweet video as a memento for her :) it’s cool because it gives you an idea of what a typical day is like here at the home office!

remember last week i mentioned all of our store managers were here at the home office? well our visual manager for the west coast, who always sends me amazing photos of our stores and displays, snapped a bunch of photos of their outfits! our store girls have amazing style, they always represent free people beautifully :)
good morning! i wanted to get right to the poll today because we have a new lookbook for september and it is beautiful. which outfit is your favorite?
and the winner of last week’s denim poll was the lightweight skinny with 38% :)
at about 12:53 an email popped up in my inbox that said “come see best coast in building 7 NOW!” umm…twist my arm? builing 7 is home to some of the urban offices, and best coast had set up in the lobby to play a quick set just for us! not a bad break on the tuesday after a long weekend :)
and here are a couple of their songs for you to listen to – if you’re in the philly area, they’re playing tonight at first unitarian church!
for today’s poll i thought i’d ask you guys about denim. fp denim in particular. which of these styles would you wear the most this fall?
the fp pull on flare:
the fp textured skinny:
or the fp seamed skinny:
last week i asked which of our 3 trends for fall you loved most out of 70s groupie, sports utility and underwear as outerwear. 54 % are digging the underwear as outerwear trend, 29% 70’s groupie and 17% sports utility.
as promised, some more shots of the amazing displays in our new scottsdale, arizona store!
turbans hang in and outside the store :)
our team found these awesome vintage crates at the rose bowl flea market in california!
they used them to hold accessories…
…and as risers for the window forms :)
they even painted the heads of the pins hot pink!
isn’t this amazing? our visual display & store design assistant created this using orange plastic netting from home depot woven with turbans!
they used extra sock hangers to hang bandeaus :)
fitting room detail.
i swear they are creative geniuses. more to come… i haven’t showed you my favorite part yet!
