Thank you for writing this! As a woman with hair on my toes, hair on my fingers, and hair probably places that I'm not even aware of-this piece made my day! Your beauty (both inner and outer:) made me feel beautiful. I'm about to shake my hair out, and break free of this "prison of ideas!" Thanks again! XOXO

I recently did a little post on this exhibit as well -> I really enjoyed seeing Stella's work in the flesh as I'd admired his paintings for much longer. And I 100% agree with the sentiment that going to museums and galleries is best experienced on your own. It's kind of my favorite "quiet" place, being alone with art....that sounds so snobby, but it's true, haha... - An

Emma-- agree totally about gentrification in Five Points. I would add Good Chemistry in Cap Hill, an upscale and organic dispensary. Also, Sanchos Broken Arrow and Cervantes (which is in Five Points) but is not part of the gentrification- it is the BEST live music venue in Denver, besides Red Rocks. For culture, I'd say day trip to a mining ghost town-- there are many on the front range.

Thanks for your response, Julie. I think the fact that these recommendations were provided by Denver residents is all the more reason for them to be well-informed. Feel free to reach out via e-mail if you'd like to discuss more!

This is such a lovely idea. I just bought a new Kikki K journal for 2016 am already well in to filling it up! I'm looking forward to reflecting back over everything in 12 months when, more than likely, I will have forgotten 90% of the events, thoughts and feeling I'm jotting down. Shona x
