Butter on my coffee!? This is just one of the weirdest ideas I've ever heard. But reading your blog was interesting. So, out of curiosity, I tried it (although I'm not a "butter" fan) and, low and behold, it tastes good! Thanks for sharing! I'm now introducing this to my friends. Let's see how they'll react upon knowing there's butter in their coffee!

I have an auto immune condition as well and have recently had to cut out a lot of foods including gluten, dairy and eggs. It's tough totally readjusting the way you eat but once you see how it makes you feel better it gets easier and finding new favourites is always fun! I will have to give this a try but without the bananas (can't have those either). Thanks for sharing!

Breakfast is difficult for me too -- it needs to be quick, delicious, and not boring (same thing every day). I've cut out bread myself so my previous favorite of veggie + fried egg + toast is no longer an option. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it sounds healthy and tasty -- what a great idea! Something I've been loving lately is chia seeds with water or almond milk, raw cocoa nibs, goji berries, nuts and seeds. Soak for ten minutes and then go to town -- keep it stored dry in a mason jar, and its great for traveling! =)

Hey Katherine. Chia seeds are optional, much like all of the ingredients in the recipe. It's easy to substitute or just leave out. I love the idea of adding cinnamon! xx

This was delicious! I added a splash of heavy cream to the wilted greens and allowed it all to simmer for a minute. This recipe was light but very satisfying and perfect for September! Thanks for sharing!

Do you use champagne vinegar? or champagne vinegarette? I was curious because the champagne vinegarette probably also has olive oil and salt and pepper in it which is in the creamy caesar dressing recipe. Looks so good!!
