Day by day I’m so impressed by all of the amazing fashion I come across here at the office. Everywhere there are items that make you want to melt. The styling is so fresh. I find myself staring just taking in the aesthetic of it all.
She was a little camera shy, but I had to capture this necklace for you all. How amazing?!
I love how she knotted the dress and wore it with printed boots to give this look a laidback feel.
This crazy mix match of prints is so daring and perfect. I love how the prints have a funky feel yet the look remains retro and feminine overall.
How stylish is this pairing of the ruffle legging with chambray and booties?
This week’s style file is for all of you Lou’s out there who find inspiration in menswear. Believe it or not, there are a decent amount of men working around this office, and their fashion is just as much fun to observe as the ladies.
Our (fairly new) production assistant is one of the sharp men making a statement here. He has an eye for good fashion with tailored pieces, luxe sweaters, and vintage details. I love that he’s not afraid to wear a patterned sock, and how sharp does he look in those men’s high-water pants?? You can pretty much bet he’ll have a button-up shirt on, but the range of color, pattern, and fabric combinations in the outfit as a whole steer it away from ever getting boring. There’s a true refined quality to the way he dresses that takes a good eye to pull off.

Amazing style, amazing tattoos!
Ashley very lucky, I wish more boys were made like this.
:)
This week’s office style is dedicated to every girl’s number one fetish – shoes. There’s no shortage of killer kicks around this office. Every day I’m in awe of all the amazing shoes that appear. Some are so unique you can’t help but stop and stare while others have a chic that is equally paralyzing. It doesn’t matter if it’s a sneaker, boot, or wedge, each pair is perfection. See some of today’s amazing shoes for yourself…
Everyone showed up ready for work and looking good this week. Femme lace and preppy elements like classic stripes and trousers seemed to have a big role in how we were feeling. The classic touches were accented with funky bellbottoms and cheetah print punches throughout. On top of it all there were some great maxi dresses and fun pops of lipstick. I have to say, this week in office style there was much for the eyes to enjoy. Check it out…

the shorts with the lace hem are downright delightful
Our operations coordinator is also getting married, and had the amazing idea to incorporate some of the beautiful quilted fabric from India that we use for lots of our store displays – by having it used to make one-of-a-kind clutches as gifts for her bridesmaids! She worked with her friend Paige, a local designer behind Christine Shirley, who uses scraps of old fabric or old vintage clothes that may never come back in style to make handbags, clutches and more. Check out the amazing clutches she made with the quilted fabric!
Such an awesome idea, and a great way to incorporate her love of Free People into her wedding!

I really really want one of these!!! Love them sooooo much! Is there a place I can buy some of the fabrics like you guys get? I just love it!
Our beautiful web merchandiser is getting married, and we had a little surprise bridal shower for her this morning :) She was so surprised, it was really sweet – and so were all the yummy treats!
Our office coordinator has a courageous coolness about the way she dresses. There’s nothing quiet about how she presents herself. You can almost guarantee she’ll have on an awesome loud print or a bright color if not pasted across her lips. Perhaps what I covet most about her wardrobe, are the true pieces that make it up – her funky fringe jacket, cool vintage pin, artisan rings, and perfectly grunge tee – all seemingly one-of-a-kind (if not so). She knows how to pull them all together with attitude. Whatever look she is going after she makes it fearless and exhilarating. Check out what she wore this week…
It looks like the rain has people dressing a bit more casually this week. Today in office style we have some great laid back tees, close-toed shoes, high waters, and cozy sweaters or jackets. Where people decided to battle the elements and thrown on something more put together, we have great combinations of color and texture. Who would have thought to layer plaid over lace or to throw in and pop of blue with rusty orange and zebras? I love it all!
This dog cracks me up! She belongs to our creative design assistant and she is probably the tiniest dog I’ve ever seen – pictures really don’t do it justice. She’s a cutie and she loves to breakdance! Check it out :)

She's lovely! I'm only wondering, doesn't she get dizzy? :P
This week the office has been very full! All of our store managers have come into town for workshops and meetings that are going on at the home office. As they rotate throughout the building you can’t help but notice the beautiful fashions they showed up in. Many have on Free People pieces, and it’s so fun to see how they interpret the items for themselves. True to Free People spirit, there’s a lot of flowing bohemian looks, gypsy-like patterns, and intricate crochet/lace. It’s not often that we get to have these ladies around, so we snapped their style while we could. Enjoy!
Kim is a store manager!? I love her, she is quite possibly the best Fp employee ever. Also maybe the only one I've ever encountered. but still she is the best. Also those flares are super cute.
No, there is not something wrong with my camera…that is pink string hanging in our lobby as part of a little installation we are doing! I love the concept:
DO WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU DO
Each employee will attach an item to one of the strings that represents what they love most about their job or what motivates them most about their job. We’ve just started attaching our objects, it’s so fun to see what people choose!
The object I hung was thank you card from one of our blog readers – every once in a while I get a card or package in the mail and it always makes my day to hear that something I wrote on the blog inspired you or made you feel good. So thank you guys!
And now I have to introduce you to this little cutie pie, Carter – he belongs to a fp girl’s roommate and I’m smitten with him! I love how puppies tire themselves out and crash, they’re so cute when they’re sleepy :)
