Thanks a lot for this post. It was amazing, I also like the use of the stick as a way to speak out what we need to let go of. It's like you are putting that thought, feeling, etc. into the stick and leaving it behind. I appreciate that.

2015. I am beyond excited to start this New Year. I feel loved, happy and proud of the woman I'm becoming and the woman I will eventually learn to be. I took my first Yin Yoga class, started journaling again, freed myself of something(s) that were holding me down and incorporated more things that I LOVE. I follow your posts daily, and wanted to thank you for inspiring me! Happy New Year, Looking forward to reading more.

Post image for Just Write: It’s Time to Start a Journal

When was the last time you set pen to paper? Words flowing from heart, to head, to hand; the curling script of your signature scrawl looping across the page? Read more »

I've been so accustomed to traveling the analog path over the years I find it impossible to compose my thoughts using a keyboard and Times New Roman! You truly nailed it with this inspiring blog! I love going to one of my coffee houses and writing with my favorite pen and journal! Thanks for putting the fun back into being creative!!
Paulina -Jan 17, 2015, 10:40AM
I started to write on a journal right before the Holidays. I've felt a little empty or in search of something I'm still trying to understand, but it's been so great letting go of some of my thoughts into pages or accepting my feelings by writing them down. I do, however, feel like I can write about the same things so I love the prompts you suggested. For the next couple of days I'll be referencing them, and trying to dive deeper into myself for growth.

I had been practicing Abhyanga all along and had no idea!! Glad that the Universe led me to utilizing this self care practice. Not I will do it even more!!
Pauline -Jan 08, 2015, 6:40AM
Abhyanga is a really great thing. I also keep promising to myself that I will do it more often. It's best when you do it every day, but I don't find time for it as often as I'd want to. It's worth noting in my goals list, so thanks for the reminder! I will write it down! :)

Every trip I take home is a race against time. The desire to visit every old haunt is tempered only by the hours available. In a day. In a week. I want to fit it all in, see everyone, go everywhere. Read more »

Oh, I love doing that! However, your post was still very inspiring to me. It made me see that I am not alone and certainly I am not naive in thinking that each thing that happens and each person that came into our lives teaches us something. 2014 was not so great as I thought it would be, but it made me grow so much as a person. I'm thankful. Happy New Year!

"Be proud of your accomplishments, and look at hardships as both opportunities and learning experiences. Know that everything is happening as it should" It takes a mature mind and some level of faith in God to see hardships as an opportunity for growth and to look back and be thankful that you had such difficulk experience what ever it may be.

NYE is super important to me too. I wrote a post on what I learned in 2014 and what I want to learn in 2015 - I think intentions are so important. I'll be publishing a few more 2015 posts in the next and I look forward to reading more about FP's resolutions and wishes :) Warm Regards, Alexandra
