Whenever I get on my bike, the notion of being free takes over me. Postcard destinations flash before my eyes and I wish just for one day that my bike would become a magic time machine, where I could go on a magnificent journey, exploring scenery, getting lost in the beauty and riding so fast through the soft air that I start to feel light.

Love the flower bike and the crochet bike! I'm terrible at riding bikes, but I've incorporated them into photoshoots twice in the past year.
Every now and again I take a weekend trip to New York to stay with my sister for some different scenery and to spend some time with my sibling. I commute straight from work on a Friday night and come back on a Sunday. I like to pack light so I don’t feel strained – after all, it’s just a quick weekend trip. Read more »

Hi Brigette...,, acupuncture is a simply great-way to relieve from pains. I for one personally understand its importance so well because I've seen a family member of mine mad with pain and dying for that sort of relief that only acupuncture can give for Migrane. It's a magical treatment!

Hey Brigette, I much like you have recently taken to a natural approach to my health to deal with stomach problems and acne that I've been battling for years. Today I went to a regular physiotherapy session for an old wrist injury I have, the therapist brought up acupuncture as something she wanted to try out on me. I had just read this post before going and because I had read it I said sure. I think this may really work and I want to say thanks for brining acupuncture to light on this blog, it gave me (someone terrified of needles) enough courage to get acupuncture on my arm. :)
We have a new graphic design assistant on our team and she did these gorgeous watercolor illustrations of some of the images from our January catalog! We were so amazed we had to share them. I have always loved watercolor and they way artists use it sparingly to convey such detail and emotion, and she is so skilled at doing just that. Read more »

Amen to that! We always remind people that the cycles of the moon can help to remind us (in addition to perfect energy) for letting go and releasing all that we no longer need. The full moon each and every month is the perfect time to release and let go...and then the New Moon is the perfect time to ask for want you want! Although letting go can be difficult at times, it is important to make room for the new. I have been reading the shorter version - Practicing the Power of Now. I read it before bed and in my early morning by just opening the book to any page and reading from there. I find making it part of my daily routine reminds me to stay grounded even when life gets stressful.

I LOOOOVE this post. This is my all-time-favorite fashion style. It's the one i connect with most and feel most comfortable in. I feel it suits a lot of us who were the floaters and didn't really belong to any one "clique" or "type." This is also written so beautifully. I really got the right feeling from it :)
