Post image for 5 Ways To Enjoy The Sun In The Winter

Well, it’s mid-February. For those of us in the northern hemisphere, that means it’s the dead of winter. And here in Philly, that means it’s cold, cold, cold. We know spring is coming, but there isn’t a sign of it yet. Read more »

I hope you all are staying warm on the east coast! It's chilly here in california (sigh, a mere 55 degrees!) but I do miss the snow and the beauty in the way it photographs! Xx, Tiffany { http://www.sunshinedaydreamphotography.com/ }

Thanks for sharing these ideas. I'm lucky, because on a sunny day I get sun on my couch in the afternoon. Other than that, my mom, sister and I like to bundle up with a bunch of blankets and a warm jacket on a not so freezing day, get something hot to drink and just spend half an hour or so sitting in the garden. The warmer it gets towards spring, the less layers are needed :-)

Funny, I passed by 3 other vegetarian restaurants on my way to my favourite this afternoon. Salud y Vida seats 100 and gets packed everyday for lunch.

I love Winter so walking through the snow is absolutely lovely for me. It's like traveling to a different world sometimes...and it's drenched in beautiful white crystals.

Are there only 4/7 chakras explored on this series or am I missing some articles?
Andrea -Feb 17, 2014, 12:52PM
i love these posts ! a couple of years ago i went to this energy cleansing place to cleanse my chakras. The woman told me my throat chakra was the most congested and blocked. At the time it was so weird bc I had always had trouble speaking up or expressing myself !

Post image for What Pink Says About You

We all have love on the brain this week, and with the idea of love comes the thought of pinkish hues. Pink, the color of passion, of nuturing, of unconditional love. It’s romantic, it’s intimate, it’s feminine, it’s kind. If you find yourself drawn to the color pink, it’s probably also true that…

Post image for Morning Rituals

I used to be a morning person. When I was in high school, I’d spring up at the first sound of my alarm — sometimes even earlier — ready for the day ahead. The snooze button did not exist for me. Read more »

Thank you so much!! I love this. Going through a lot of solar plexus healing right now and despite how yucky it feels, I know it will be well worth it!! <3 I appreciate this!
marian -Feb 18, 2014, 8:13PM
I agree with the idea that physical problems can relate to emotional issues. Having a cold can indicate you are feeling unloved and need loving, maybe you are giving too much and not recieving. Stomach problems yes... anger and resentment..If we could all realise that and let it go those chronic niggling problems may well disappear. Unless of course its your appendix...lol

Post image for Monday Quote: She Dances To The Songs In Her Head

I've been following this blog for a while, and I've always empithized with your stomach issues, because I suffered from very similar digestive problems, and have tried many different things such as yourself. I have had doctors diagnose me as IBS, and shrugged me off. Three years later and I finally found out I had chronic appendicitis. A very rare form of appendicitis, to the point where a lot of doctors debate over whether its possible of not. Apparently it is a real thing, and ever since my appendectemy I haven't suffered from any of my digestive issues. I just wanted to share this with you because I remember how frustrating it was not knowing the reason behind my pain, and maybe it could help you in some way. Best of luck to you XO

a post on tantra yoga would be awesome! I'm slightly confused as to what it is.

Maybe as a health coach (and a woman living in this century) you should recognize that "frigidity" is a pretty offensive term to women and something entirely made up by victorian male doctors to explain sexual problems in oppressive and often abusive relationships.
