Can you tell us more about this? I'd like to find out more details.
Autumn Smith -Oct 03, 2013, 12:37PM
Not only is Autumn my name, it is my favorite time of year, your post justifies all the reasons why. Nothing like a feeling of crisp fall air into your lungs, and the warmth of the sun on your breath as you exhale.

Obsessed with this quote, I feel the same way, walking the city streets, I make up their stories. xo, Juliette Laura

Beautiful i love strangers, there is a hidden magic of just meeting someone new, just walking up to that person and saying "hi" i do this a lot with new people at my school, its just so fun. and you walk up to them and you imagine how they are until that moment yoyu hear their voices for the first time. its such a bummer when they dont turn out as friendly or polite as you wish. next monday quote: DO RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS AND SENSELESS ACTS OF BEAUTY.

Love this! These colors also represent similar meanings in your auras, which should come as no surprise as they are greatly influenced by your emotions and the balance of your chakra.

Post image for What Does Your Eye Color Mean?

Eyes are one of the most beautiful and expressive components to the human body. They have the ability to reveal our inner emotions and they’re our window to the outside world. We can communicate so much with our eyes, from the slightest glance to a deep stare. Read more »

Could've written a bit more about Brown-eyed people... :/
Janice Kisor -Apr 15, 2014, 3:52PM
I have Brown just around the pupil of my eyes, then the color disperses into grey, green and blue. When the sun hits them they look brown and tourquoise or teal. If I wear purple they turn dark green. But the brown color is always around the pupil. My diposistion fits that of the Blue eyes and grey eyes.

@ Sabrina "My imagination helped me get through some tough times, but I’m glad I had it by my side the entire way." I couldn't agree more.
Sabrina -Sep 23, 2013, 12:07PM
This quote reminds me of all the times I've been lost and didn't know where to turn. There have been times when I didn't know who I was or what I wanted to do. I wasn't happy with my life. I was told I'd never be someone. I'd always turn to my imagination and pictured what I wish my life could be like. Every night, I'd turn on a song, lay back and visualized my dream life. Little did I know, it gave me inspiration. I began to show everyone what I'm really capable of and stood up for myself. My imagination helped me get through some tough times, but I'm glad I had it by my side the entire way.

Post image for Saturday DO: Embrace Fall

I’ve always been a summer person, and as the season begins to transition to fall, it sometimes tends to bring me down a bit.  I do love fall and everything that comes with it, but it’s the foreboding sense of winter’s chill that hangs over me.  Less sunlight can mean less energy, and the winter months are known to cause Seasonal Affective Disorder, something I definitely tend to suffer from in winter.  But this year I want to embrace fall.  Read more »

Fall is my absolute favorite season, the smells, the colors, oh and my birthday! :) I'm super excited about our mini trip (2hr drive) to hot springs to take in the changing leaves and pick up crystals.

Post image for 3 Ways To Live In The Now

The whole concept behind living in the now is that letting go of the past and present will awaken your soul and allow you to let go of worry, find true peace and happiness, and really live. Ever since I read Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now (which we did a Bldg 25 Blog book club on earlier this year), I’ve been making a conscious attempt to live in the moment every single day. I LOVE this post! Thank you so much for sharing. In the last couple of years, I have found myself overwhelmed with everything to the point of numbness like you mentioned. It is hard to enjoy this very moment when you are dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. I have found that something that really helps me to live in the moment is Gratitude, even in the smallest things. Just acknowledging our thankfulness for the simple things has really opened my heart and eyes to the world around me. I also started reading a book called "1000 gifts by Ann Voscamp".....WONDERFUL! I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in learning to live "in the moment"
Tori -Sep 18, 2013, 12:49PM
I read Tolle's A New Earth and it changed my life. Thank you for such a wonderful post. Being reminded to be here now is the greatest gift. Much love,

Post image for What Gold Says About You

Post image for The History Of Grunge

Grunge is one of those trends that experiences frequent resurgences, and every time it comes back around we like to give it a new twist to make it fresh and exciting.  This season we love giving grunge an unexpected girly element by mixing florals with plaids, whether it is in the form of a boldly printed maxi dress or a sweater.  Read more »

One name comes to mind.... Chris Cornell! Im writing grunge lyrics. Learning grunge guitar riffs, and my hair is almost there. "Trying to be someone you're not is a waste of the person you are" - Kurt Cobain I believe that Attitude and angst make a survivor out of the humiliation.
Natasha -Nov 05, 2013, 4:43AM
I live in the grunge style. Everything from checkered shirts to leather jackets and baggy tees are my favourite. my favourite combo is a pair of vintage levis with tights paired with a band tee and my leather jacket. I am a huge music fan and listen to alot of rock/alternative music which i think is what influenced me to dress the way i do and also my interests. Most of my clothes are dark in colour. Black, denim and maroon and grey is basically my wardrobe. It really helps show individuality in a person i think because every season it comes around something new is added to it! glam grunge is something im loving at the moment the tartan dresses and cut out boots are my must have for this fall! :)
