after today’s DIY post, an fp girl here at the home office showed me a project she did, also involving butterflies. at first glance, it’s a normal book…
…but then you open it:
isn’t that amazing? she cut out the inside and created this beautiful little scene. i love it!
lately i’ve really been loving the work of scotland-based artist fiona watson, using feathers, flowers, and other found items…

stream is a photograph projection show curated by jennilee marigomen, who i posted about last weekend. it’s taking place tonight in baltimore (pent house gallery) and LA (space 15 twenty), and if you’re able to attend either one, DO. among the many photographers in the show is marcelo gomes, who we posted about on our blog back in august…his work is unbelievable:

i took a little walk today to check out the progress on what will soon be our new home…i’m so excited we’re going to be right on the water! it’s so pretty…
